Another post Soviet boneyard is in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone the area evacuated after the 1986 nuclear disaster in Ukraine. The vehicles used to help clean up the disaster area were contaminated with radiation. A line of giant Soviet helicopters has been left to rust in the fields.
I in my senior year right now as a CS major and applying to med schools in the current cycle. I say it was definitely harder to be a CS major because the two fields are so different and taking a coding test was vastly different than taking a cell bio course. If you really are interested in both fields, I say try doing some bioinformatics research.
When you are just starting to play golf, you are frequently warned to not hit the ball too hard. Energy that is focused will make the ball go much further than a hard swing that does not make contact with the ball at the club center. When you are well balanced, you are more free to hit the ball correctly..
Another wholly unscientific factor in a beer rise in popularity could be its nickname. It seems to help a beer street cred to have a code name or sorts, perhaps so the the know crowd knows how to order at the bar, and how to recognize fellow enthusiasts. Pabst Blue Ribbon, of course, is shortened into PBR.
I see people with this kind of “volume” logic all the time. And it essentially never works out in practice. The reason is something called the “Law of Diminishing Returns”. In 2015, Australia finally succeeded in winning the Asian Cup on home soil a trophy that despite being the favorite every single time had eluded them. And for that reason it seemed in many ways the crowning achievement of an aging group rather than a true reboot. Subsequently World Cup qualification proved to be quite difficult and was only secured via two playoff games against Syria and Honduras.
And I think a lot of young players could be really good, but they get into a losing culture and they have a nice contract and they look at the older guys who either aren’t giving it their all or are only playing for themselves and their next contract and they learn from that. I have coached from middle school all the way to the college level so I have seen every kind of coach. And when I coached middle school club teams I would watch other teams warm up and I would see basic fundamentals taught incorrectly and I would think to myself, “these kids have no chance.” They are learning the wrong things and they are going to continue to move backwards as long as they are playing for this coach and then when its time to play basketball at the high school level, they will have done the wrong thing for so long they won’t be able to catch up.
